DANIO-AI team from Adamed Discovery has been selected to participate in the European AI Hackathon, held virtually from 6 to 29 October 2026.

During the event, the team will develop HotMolForge, a computational approach supporting early-stage drug discovery by combining pharmacophore-based molecular representations, cheminformatics, AI and molecular modelling. The project aims to improve the identification and prioritization of potentially active compounds while reducing reliance on computationally intensive structure-based screening. During the hackathon, the team will further develop and evaluate the HotMolForge prototype.

The DANIO-AI team consists of Dorota, Łukasz, Michał, Konrad, Marcin, Iwona, Julita and Alicja bringing together complementary expertise across computational and medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, molecular modelling, AI and drug discovery. During the hackathon, the team will work closely with their mentor, David Wifling from LRZ / HammerHAI, to further develop and challenge the HotMolForge concept.
